ISSA, the worldwide cleaning industry association, and The Building Futures Group have formed an agreement to promote the importance of the cleaning industry in the UK.
The partnership will launch in autumn 2014 with a round table summit that will bring together representatives from the across UK cleaning industry. The group will analyse how the industry can implement and improve upon its sustainability and environmental measures.
Alongside this, each organisation will be able to focus on delivering the sustainability agenda and increase regulation within the industry. The partnership aims to improve standards across the industry and encourage recognition and reward for the hard work of professional cleaners.
At Merco, we are delighted to see the UK cleaning industry and hard-working professional cleaners recognised. Making sure regulation and sustainability measures are strong is key to ensuring all companies meet the high standards that should be expected from commercial cleaners.
